What happen to hold and complete!!!!

Someone at RTM smoked something and decided to redesign something that was great and turned it into digital poo ;(. Now we the grocery store it takes me 4 clicks to check off the each item. App is now 1 star! Bring back click and complete. Sad I upgraded to pro.

Wow! Best Ever!!!

This surely has got to be one of the absolute best task management apps out there. Ive never seen something so feature oriented that still maintains extreme user friendliness. Highly recommend this for both the technically savvy who will appreciate the advanced query options, but also recommend for anyone just starting to get on top of organization. Wonderful!

Hate the update, want to go back

Ive used rtm since day 1 and depend on it heavily. I hate the new update. Adding a new task is harder now (takes more taps). I dont like swipe to complete. I dont like that when I open it I have to swipe to get to my task list. Please, is there a way I can downgrade?!

What I have been waiting for

I have used all the major GTD solutions from OF, Things Todoist, 2Do, etc. This update of RTM is by far the best one for my needs and hits on all the features necessary for a good productivity system: multi platform, subtasks, start dates, awesome filtering, emailing tasks, multiple tags, and simple to use. One recommendation for a future update would be the ability to create a task in the inbox and designate that it should be a subtask of an already created task. Also reminders can only be set up for task with start or end dates (Id like to remind myself of Someday tasks which have neither). Overall this is a great app and worth your consideration- especially if you need cross platform functionality. Great customer service also! Thanks

Too little, too late.

I was a RTM Pro user for years, but after years without new features or design updates, I switched to Things in 2014. I was initially excited to learn about this "major" (2016) RTM update, but after trying it, Im frankly shocked at how little has changed. Its still dated and clunky. And like many others have reported, this update caused dozens and dozens of my COMPLETED tasks to REAPPEAR. RTM used to be hip, but lost its way, years ago—and sadly, this update does nothing to change that. Back to Things.

Great redesign

A great, flexible service. Highly recommended.

Tech support...almost

I bought the Pro version of this and for a week was thrilled to have access to my Outlook tasks on my phone - just splendid. However I ran into a technical problem with the add-on suddenly being disabled, so I contacted tech support for help (as instructed). After one round of emails that support vanished, which I found very frustrating. This app has been no help for over 2 weeks now - thats a waste!

Absolutely fantastic for Evernote users

The ability to create tasks links, sort by a number of parameters (even tags, assigned to, priorities, due date, and group by any of these) is just ridiculously good. I’ve tried a number of task managers from Asana to Wrike to Todoist to Wunderlist. The others are pretty good too, but they don’t let you create list the way you need them, and with so many parameters. BUT…. if you use Evernote, then this is an absolute no-brainer. I love Evernote and have thousands of notes there and capture so much stuff from quick notes, to LinkedIn web clippings to video and Word attachments to whatever. And while Evernote excels in the ability to have a mini-Dropbox kind of feel inside of every note which is way beyond anything out there, it really falls short in the task management department. Their reminders set up just doesn’t appeal to just getting things done. Tap on reminders in Evernote and a whole unsorted jumble comes out — too much stuff to look through. DISCLAIMER… Remember the Milk is still sorting things out with regards to the type of Evernote link that they capture. This means that for right now, even though you assign a task to another user, the other user won’t be able to open the Evernote link … unless they are logged into your account (!). This is a technical issue that they need to resolve and work closely with Evernote. However, for single use, this is not a problem and a superb solution.

The new RTM is wonderful

I am thrilled with the new update and happy to be back with remember the milk. The application is wonderfully adaptive, wicked fast, and free of some pre-set productivity philosophy. Get the app and learn how to use Smart Add.

To do lists on steroids

Makes my life so much more organized/easier/less stressful.

Probably the best to-do app

And Ive tried them all. Development languished for a while there, but theyve come back with a vengeance. Im pretty picky when it comes to this category, and I can testify that theyve now covered just about every feature that I could ask for. Definitely five stars.

Amazing update

Ive been a user for a number of years, this recent update is a massive improvement to an already great core service

Wish reminders were easier

Overall I really like RTM, but for me reminders are absolutely key for a to-do list app and I feel like theyre way too hard to set up here. I wish I didnt have to go through a bunch of extra steps to set them up initially, and then have to create the event, edit it and then add a new field to have a reminder. Too complicated for what is an absolutely essential feature for me. Overall, RTM is well-designed and easy to use but I may have to end up dropping it over the reminder thing.

Love the app, hate the lag time

I love RTM as a to do list tool. This new version lags a lot after updating groups of tasks, which is annoying. It also has had an issue with some of my tasks disappearing for no apparent reason, which defeats the whole purpose of a to do list!

Best task manager and list maker

Ive used Remember the Milk for many years. Theyve now added a sub task feature which is a really nice addition. The app is great and syncs to data on their web application. You can also use Siri to add tasks to the app, making it easy to add tasks on the go. Remember the Milk is highly configurable using tags and smart lists, so you can design the interface the way you want it. Check out the online user forum on their website for lots of great tips and tricks.

Love it and thank you!

The new RTM is great! Been a paid/pro user for years now and this new version for all devices and computers has all the options I wanted in a task app. Thank you! : )

Excellent mobile productivity

Ive used Remember The Milk since 2007, and their iOS app has been my favorite way to manage my tasks and stay on top of everything. I especially love the subtasks, drag and drop ordering, multi-edit, and quick navigation through the app. The Evernote integration is handy also.

Alerts not working

After the last update the alerts stopped working. No popups and nothing in notifications. This makes the app useless for me.

RTM? ...WTH?

To say its counterintuitive is an understatement!!! Makes it so much more complicated than it needs to be. Very frustrating.

I keep coming back

From time to time I try other to do lists and I keep coming back to RTM. Solid on all platforms and flexible enough to be useful for all my projects. Ive used it for years and really love the stripped down UI. Simple, intuitive, easy to use
